TiSoft BIM software provides a core set of BIM features. TiSoft equipment library contains BIM elements of the equipment. A BIM element consists of the virtual equivalents of the actual equipment used in an installation. The equipment library is constantly enriched with equipment on the market and includes 3D models, technical characteristics and more information like pictures and manufacturer's documents.

Library is organized in:

  • Equipment categories
  • Brand names
  • Series
  • Families

Each family is a .libf file that can be downloaded and used in projects. For more information you may watch the video, read the FAQ or browse the Help center.

What is the BIM equipment library?

TiSoft equipment library contains BIM elements of equipment on the market.

How to download families of equipment?

Select the category (radiators, heat pumps etc.), then the brand name, the series of equipment and finally the family of products you wish to download. Each family is a .libf file.

How to use downloaded files?

Run HeatingDesign, open or create a new project and click on the Import equipment family from file button to browse for the downloaded file. For more information watch the above video.

A BIM element consists of the virtual equivalents of the actual equipment used in an installation. These intelligent elements are the digital prototype of the physical elements such as radiators, heat pumps, boilers, collectors, valves, fittings, pipes etc. that allow us to simulate the building installation.
